Do you choose movies with a theme, or your favorite director or actor- - or what? What movies are on your list?

Huh, sounds like every day off of mine... :P I don't go for any theme usually. This week actually, I had a romance theme going on because it was what I was in the mood for. However most of the time, I'll switch it up with no rhyme or reason to it... Shawshank Redemption, Beerfest, Boondock Saints, Grandma's Boy, Saving Private Ryan, Dodgeball... That sounds like a good day ;)

Depends.. right now I'm craving an L Word marathon.. (living vicariously through tv..just too cold to walk upstairs and get the dvds lol) tomorrow I'm having a Danny Kaye day.. (got a set that had some I've been looking for.. including 2 I've never seen).. If I'm mad.. I tend to go with more.. odd ones.. like Love Object, The Jacket.. etc.. off the wall, violent.. and normally the bad guy either wins.. or at least is portrayed as a sympathetic character.. I have a HUGE collection of movies.. everything from kids movies to foreign to VERY adult in nature.. sometimes I just randomly choose a movie and then whatever peaks my interest will be my "theme ".. for example.. If I chose Lars and the Real Girl.. then I'd go with Stay which also starrred Ryan Goseling.. then Tank Girl which has what's her name from that one.. (plays the artist in Stay).. then maybe Relax it's just Sex with Lori Petty (.. or really anything with Lori Petty .. she's amazing).. then if I get tired of the actor chain.. I find something "similar ".. like The Wedding Banquet.. My brain works in wierd ways.. so you never know what my brain will tie together. Mostly though.. I tend to read more then I watch movies or TV..
